2 more Cuban political prisoners arrive in Spain

MADRID -- Two more Cuban political prisoners have arrived in Spain, the
latest to be allowed go into exile under Cuba's pledge to free
dissidents jailed since 2003.
The arrival Thursday of Fabio Prieto and Juan Carlos Herrera brings the
number of released dissidents in Spain to 25.
The two were among six dissidents Cuba's Roman Catholic Church said last
week would be freed. Three more arrived Tuesday and another is due to
arrive in the coming days. Others arrived in groups last month.
The men are among 75 dissidents arrested in a March 2003 crackdown and
sentenced to long prison terms on charges that included treason.
After lengthy talks with the church and Spain, Cuba agreed July 7 to
release the remaining prisoners still held.
