Alan Gross, a United States citizen, is serving a 15-year prison
sentence in Cuba for installing banned satellite equipment for Internet
access. His wife Judy Gross told CCTV America's Michael Voss that she
fears he is also losing the will to live.

Gross is currently being held in the prison wing of a military hospital
in Havana. Cuban authorities say he is receiving regular medical
check-ups, despite the fact that he has lost almost 100 pounds (45
kilos) in weight.

Cuba has offered to swap Gross for the three remaining Cuban spies
serving long prison sentences in the U.S. Washington dismissed the
offer, saying the cases of the Cuban spies are different.

The Gross family is currently attempting to sue the U.S. government over
lost wages and legal fees. This is on the grounds that he should never
have been sent on such a dangerous mission without proper training.

CCTV America's Michael Voss interviewed his wife Judy Gross in this report.
